Practice Notice

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak Cornhill Dental Practice has had to make the very difficult decision to stop all routine dental care for our patients until further notice.

We feel it is in the best interest of both patients, colleagues and clinicians that we should follow recent government advice and limit the amount of unnecessary contact and gatherings, this means we have decided to stop all non-emergency treatments.

Cornhill will still be available for general advice given over the phone or by email but we will only be able to see patients with actual toothache.

Due to these unprecedented times we will only be able to do emergency treatments that do not involve high speed instruments and air compression as they generate airborne particles, designated high risk by Public Health England. Due to the high risk envolved for both clinician and patient we ask patients to carefully consider before they ring the practice whether their tooth problems are severe enough to put themselves and the practitioners at risk.

We will be manning the phones Monday to Friday on reduced hours:

Monday 9-5
Tuesday 9-5
Wednesday 9-5
Thursday 9-5
Friday 9-2

Emergency will be seen as per appointment agreed with the practice, please do not attend the practice without an appointment as you will not be able to gain entry.  There will be an opportunity to gain telephone advice from a dentist within working hours.  We can assure you that we are committed to serving our communities through this challenging time and the health and safety of our patients and staff are always in the forethought of our mind.
